Portland Pickleball offers Beginner Clinics and Open Play along with the Stevens Square Pickleball Club for advanced players self-ranked at 3.5 and higher.
BEGINNER CLINICS
For those who have never played pickleball or have limited familiarity with the rules. Nationally certified instructor Dave Cousins has designed a special series of classes where you will:

Learn the fundamental rules of the game

Progress at a comfortable pace

Enjoy fun drills and play games

Each session is limited to 12 players to ensure that you receive the maximum amount of instruction, skill development, and playtime. Bring your pickleball paddle or we also have paddles to use during the clinic and for sale.
$100 per clinic (Four sessions per clinic.)

IMPROVER CLINICS
Work on your Pickleball skills with Coach Dave! This program is intended for those who have already completed our Beginner Lessons, or those who have the fundamentals of Pickleball already down and are looking to bring themselves to the next level. This class is designed for USAPA rated 2.5-3.0 players.
Each session is limited to 12 players to ensure participants have sufficient court time and 1-on-1 attention.

OPEN PLAY
No pressure pickup pickleball for beginners and intermediate players. Sign up and show up. We’ll get you going on rotating two-on-two games. You’ll meet new people, have fun and hone your skills.

STEVENS SQUARE PICKLEBALL CLUB
Competitive players self-ranked at 3.5 level or above gather for fast-paced advanced play. Teams of two rotate through a round-robin format on our three courts. Organized by Maine pickleball legend, Rocky Clark.
Three two-hour time slots are available each day. A member of the club may choose one slot per day.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
8:00 - 10:00 AM; 10 AM-Noon; 1:00 - 3:00 PM
A monthly membership fee is required. There is currently a waiting list.
